About us
StudyGuard is a mentorship agency for students who study away from home. In practice, a mentor is one responsible adult with a strong academic background who is present in the student’s academic life every week.
A student moves abroad and everything changes at once: a new academic system, deadlines in a second language, university administration to deal with, and no adult nearby who understands how any of it works. Parents are hundreds of miles away and often hear about a problem only once it has turned into a grade.
We assign a mentor who plans the week with the student, checks the work before it is submitted, talks to the institution when something needs resolving, and tells the family honestly how things are going. Structure and honest feedback, not babysitting.

Yes, at any point and without explanation. A mentoring relationship only works when the fit is right.
Mentoring is in English by default. Tell us in the request form if you need another language and we will say straight away whether we can cover it.
